I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
